Synopsis
A newly wedded couple faces challenges at the onset of their relationship. Story deals with unusual baggage from the past leading to confrontations, uncertainty, numerous un-remorseful ’sorry’ episodes and the pursuit to understand the root cause of the issues in the hope of bringing back normalcy to the relationship.

Vinay Kumar
A Melbourne-based artist who has performed as part of dance groups at various corporate events, Bollywood musician opening acts including opening performances for various Bollywood artist shows such as Shreya Ghoshal, Adnan Sami, Mika Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan as well as the Right Royal Affair Brisbane.
Vinay has a background in Biomedical Science, and is currently working in Sales Management role. He is passionate about soccer, captaining his indoor soccer team, and holds a black belt in Taekwondo for which he is also an assistant instructor at his club.
Vinay plays the intense lead role in 'I Am Sorry'.
As an actress of Indian origin from Melbourne, Preeti has acted in over half a dozen short and feature length movies playing as the lead actress. Her work includes The Hidden Truth, Muqaddar, I Do Ishq Only Tumse, Khalish, Wedlock.
Preeti is also an established model having walked the ramp for leading designers in Australia as part of the Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Week, Indian International Film Festival, Lord Mayor's International Students Welcome sharing the ramp with Bollywood and sports celebrities and many more. She was crowned the People's Choice at the 2015 Latin American Pageant amongst many others.
A qualified Marketing, Public Relations and Communications Professional, Preeti is the winner of the NRI Achiever Award.

Col VD Singh
An Indian Army veteran having served for three decades and retired in 2017, also has a passion for music. A self trained freelance music maker, an audio engineer, composer, lyricist, singer, VD Singh plays many instruments like Bass, guitar, drums, piano, synthesisers, harmonica and djembe. His recognition in the world of music is that of a bassist. His compositions and creations have featured widely on various leading music online portals. Soul-touching music composition for 'I Am Sorry' is created by none other than Col VD Singh.
Writer and Director
Vivek Kumar
'I Am Sorry' is Vivek's debut short film as a Writer and Director. He is an IT professional with his core being project/program management. He lives in Melbourne, enjoys travelling with his family, has previously worked in India, US, Hong Kong and Middle East. He has been broadcasting for Indian segment at Australia's largest ethnic community radio station 92.3 FM for over 15 years.
He has featured in a character role in an Australian production film 'Taj'. With his passion in theatre from childhood, he voiced over for a key character in a play that was performed in Vancouver, Canada in 2017. He has scripted a number of skits for social events locally and in India.
As a filmmaker of 'I Am Sorry', his script follows a young couple in Australia, who face challenges in their relationship, building up with misery and agony, wondering how could this happen when everything else was not that problematic before. Well, some say life is like that while others do not take it for granted. Film goes into depth of pursuit to resolve the issues. Vivek believes that there are some serious messages in the film for everyone that may potentially aid unfortunate and struggling couples.
