The film deals with the subject of loneliness, sadness, trauma, etc. that often leads to depression. The protagonist is a middle-aged woman who is facing challenges with changes in her life. Vivek Kumar
Vivek plays the lead role in 'Queen'. He has previously performed in character roles in short film 'I Am Sorry' (2018) and an Australian production feature film 'Taj' (2011).

He has been passionate in theatre from childhood. He voiced over for a key character in a play 'Malavika' that was performed in Vancouver, Canada in 2017 and Seattle, USA (2019).

Meenu played lead role in 'Queen' with outstanding performance. She has performed character role earlier in 'I Am Sorry'.
She is radio jockey with leading ethnic radio channel 92.3FM for Indian segment in Melbourne for over 10 years. She also performs multiple roles in V3M Productions behind the screen.
Meenu, a commerce post graduate, worked for a leading insurance company in India at the onset of her career then continuing on as a Teacher at leading international school in Middle East and later settling down in Australia in casual Admin/Exam Supervision capacity with a number of Universities/educational institutions. Her primary focus has been her family which is where she finds her world. Cooking is her passion and it is admired for her ethnic delicacies in the social circle.

'Queen' (2019) is Vivek's second short film after successfully delivering 'I Am Sorry' (2018), his debut short film as a Writer and Director.

'Queen' highlights the significance of family member's role in responding to changing behaviour in their partner and step up to act upon it. Sadness and loneliness may lead to depression hence those closer to victims must take responsible approach towards life. This is the key message from the film. The film has received great response with Calcutta International Cult Film Festival presented 'Outstanding Achievement' and 'Winner' award and Mumbai Shorts International Festival awarded 'Special Festival Mention' recently in November & December 2019. Tokyo Lift-Off Film Festival 2020 and New York Lift-Off Film Festival 2020 has officially selected the film. Jodhpur International Film Festival jury honoured 'Queen' by awarding Best Social Awareness Film.

In addition to the profile presented above, his debut film 'I Am Sorry' has received accolades internationally. The film subject is mental health stigma where the script follows a young couple in Australia, who face challenges in their relationship, building up with misery and agony, wondering how could this happen when everything else was not that problematic before. Well, some say life is like that while others do not take it for granted. Film goes into depth of pursuit to resolve the issues. Vivek believes that there are some serious messages in the film for everyone that may potentially aid unfortunate and struggling couples.

Col VD Singh
Soul-touching music composition for 'Queen' is created by none other than Col VD Singh who has also created powerful music for 'I Am Sorry' earlier. Queen received honour of Best Music Composer in shorts category in Jodhpur International Film Festival.

An Indian Army veteran having served for three decades and retired in 2017, also has a passion for music. A self trained freelance music maker, an audio engineer, composer, lyricist, singer, VD Singh plays many instruments like Bass, guitar, drums, piano, synthesisers, harmonica and djembe.
His recognition in the world of music is that of a bassist. His compositions and creations have featured widely on various leading music online portals.
